Many of us go through life believing that our way is the right way and that we trust ourselves with those decisions.  And that may very well be true.  But what if that’s not true?  How many times have we said or done something that we strongly regret after the fact?  What does that do to us – way down deep – to our self-trust?    It is my observation that when we wound ourselves, we replay the event in our mind over and over. I have read, that when we recall an event, we are not recalling the actual event, but rather the last time we remembered the event. And we likely add to it, by beating ourselves up and convincing ourselves that we are not the person that we wanted to be at that particular time.  The very unfortunate piece to this is that once we are convinced that this is the “Real Person” that we are, we “condemn” ourselves to repeat the behavior.

So how do we stop this cycle?  How do we become aware before an event?  Could it be in the observance of our own boundaries?  Could it be an observance and awareness of our individual Values? Or could it be our personal “Truth”.

I believe that this is exactly where it begins when we ask these questions

The Truth shall set you free…..
